Every page is grounded in reputable wildlife authorities — the IUCN Red List — Narwhal (Monodon monoceros), NOAA Fisheries — Narwhal, and others — and we correct outdated claims from the original site (for example, narwhals are an Arctic species, not Antarctic, and the global population is now estimated far higher than older figures suggested).
